The White Daisy Quilt Shop is a culmination of a lot of dreams, waiting and work. We, Karl and Cheryl, are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors and getting very involved in the quilting community in and around Punta Gorda and the Charlotte County area.
We “retired” in January ’20 from our career jobs in Wisconsin to relocate closer to our family in Florida. Karl was a motor coach driver touring all across the US and Canada and Cheryl leaves a 30+ year career in Accounting/Human Resources. Both our careers have been people focused and this is our newest way to keep being with the people. We both enjoy being with people and helping them in any way we can.
Cheryl brings 30+ years of quilting experience, with her first love being hand stitching of any kind; Applique, hand piecing, etc. And as you will find out – anything to do with scraps. Karl will be quick to tell you the amazing number of quilt shops he has visited across America looking for fabric, he has a very good eye too.
We are also owner/operators of Cotton Road Tours, LLC which organizes and hosts cross country quilt shopping and site seeing tours. 2020 was to be our 15th year but we will pick up where we left off in 2021 with more trips and adventures to come.
We are so excited about this shop hop and we look forward to meeting all of you. We want to get to know you and to help you with any of your quilting and creative ideas.
