Bridget comes from a family of eight children: six girls, and two boys. The sewing journey started with Bridget’s grandmother, a wedding gown designer and sewist, who said that her career was not really a job…it was a passion. That passion blossomed into a family of sewers, quilters, and embroiderers. They have a little family saying…”sisters who sew, laugh & drink wine together, will stay together”.
Bridget & Mike moved to Naples in 2010 and Bridget became a customer and friend of Flash over the ensuing years. She always dreamed of owning her own sewing store and was looking for some advice. It turns out that Harold and Cindy were looking to retire and in 2020 ended up selling Flash Sew & Quilt to Bridget and Mike.
Bridget & Mike inherited a tremendous business, with unbelievable customers…and a tremendous team consisting of (ladies first) Debi, Cindy, Rosemary, Paula, Kathy G, Kathy M, Karen, Gary, and so many wonderful seasonal team members.
